Ingredients

The noodles

  • 6 oz vermicelli
  • 6 oz yellow noodles

The proteins

  • 6 shrimp
  • 4 fish balls
  • 2 oz pork

The vegetables

  • 2 oz choy sum/Chinese mustard green
  • 4 oz bean sprouts
  • 2 cloves garlic

The sauces and seasonings

  • tablespoon soy sauce
  • tablespoon sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 3 dashes white pepper powder

Other

  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • ¾ cup water
  • Fried shallot crisps

Instructions

  1. Heat a wok over high heat and add oil.
  2. Stir-fry minced garlic until aromatic.
  3. Add pork, shrimp, and fish balls; stir-fry until half-cooked.
  4. Add choy sum, bean sprouts, noodles, and vermicelli; toss quickly.
  5. Add soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, water, and pepper; stir until noodles are cooked.
  6. Dish out and garnish with fried shallot crisps. Serve immediately.
