Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry

The sauce

homemade teriyaki sauce

cornstarch
Instructions
- Prepare the homemade teriyaki sauce.
- Thinly slice the chicken into bite-sized strips.
- Chop the broccoli, red pepper, and slice the carrots, then set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium/high heat.
- Add the diced chicken to the skillet and sauté for 4-5 minutes.
- Add the chopped vegetables to the skillet and sauté for a few more minutes.
- Pour in the teriyaki sauce and continue cooking for another 5 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and the veggies are tender.
- If desired, thicken the sauce by adding cornstarch and whisking until it thickens.
- Serve the teriyaki stir fry over your favorite grain.
