Instructions
- Combine the soy sauce, ½ cup water, brown sugar, honey, ginger, 1 teaspoon of oil, and garlic in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, cook for one minute, then prepare a slurry with cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of water.
- Add the slurry to the boiling sauce and cook for another minute until thickened.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat, add chicken, and cook until done.
- Drain any excess liquid, then add the teriyaki sauce to the chicken and stir to coat.
- Spread broccoli and carrots over the chicken without mixing, cover, and steam for 2 minutes.
- Remove the cover, stir everything together, and serve warm.
