Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare the butter by browning it in a skillet.
- Toast the pecans on a baking sheet until fragrant, then chop finely.
- Beat the browned butter and powdered sugar until fluffy, then add the egg yolk, vodka, and vanilla, mixing until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the flour, salt, and baking powder into the mixture until just combined, then fold in the chopped pecans.
- Press the dough into a tart pan, sprinkle with raw sugar if using, and cut into wedges.
- Bake until golden brown, then cool and slice along the scored lines.
