Creamed Corn Pasta with Fried Herbs

Instructions
- 1. Boil salted water and cook the pasta until al dente, reserving 1 cup of the cooking water before draining.
- 2. In a skillet, melt butter and cook the corn with salt and pepper until lightly browned, then add thyme, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- 3. Stir in milk and simmer, then add pasta, parmesan, and some reserved cooking water, tossing to combine.
- 4. In another skillet, heat olive oil and fry basil leaves and thyme until crisp.
- 5. Serve the pasta topped with fried herbs.
