Pomegranate Rosemary Margarita

Ingredients

The margaritas

  • 1 cup pomegranate juice, pure, unsweetened
  • 1 cup fresh lemon or lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup
  • ½ cup silver tequila
  • 1 cup pomegranate arils, fresh or frozen
  • 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 20 small ice cubes (or 8 large ones)

Cinnamon Sugar Rim (optional)

  • ½ lemon
  • 1 tablespoon cane sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine pomegranate juice, lemon juice, agave syrup, silver tequila, pomegranate arils, and rosemary in a shaker or pitcher.
  2. Shake or mix well.
  3. If desired, prepare cinnamon sugar rim by moistening the glass edges with lemon and dipping them in a sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes.
  5. Pour margarita mixture into each glass.
  6. Serve immediately, optionally with a spoon for the pomegranate arils.
