Ingredients

The fish cakes

  • 4 packets Chicken of the Sea® Sweet & Spicy Flavored Salmon Pouches
  • 5 tablespoons panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 whole egg
  • ½ teaspoon red curry paste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For serving

  • as needed Thai cucumber salad
  • as needed sweet chili sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine the salmon, panko, egg, curry paste, and cilantro in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Shape the mixture into 3 patties, using damp hands to prevent sticking.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the patties in the skillet for 5-6 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  6. Serve immediately with Thai cucumber salad and sweet chili sauce.
