Sweet and Spicy Pretzel Mix

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, 1 tsp of thyme, salt, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper.
- To blanch the almonds, cover them with boiling water for 1 minute, then drain, rinse, and peel the skins.
- Spread the blanched almonds and pecans on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, combine nuts and melted butter, then gently stir in pretzels, Rice Chex, and maple syrup.
- Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the pretzel mixture and toss to coat.
- Spread the mixture in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for another 10 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Sprinkle with the remaining thyme and let cool completely before serving.
