Ingredients

The beans

  • 1 15-ounce can green beans
  • 1 15-ounce can kidney beans
  • 1 15-ounce can wax beans
  • 1 15-ounce can garbanzo beans or chickpeas

The dressing

  • ½ small sweet yellow onion
  • cup white wine vinegar
  • cup apple cider vinegar
  • cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup canola oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse each can of beans, then add them to a mixing bowl.
  2. Thinly slice the yellow onion and add it to the bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the vinegars, sugar, canola oil, and kosher salt.
  4. Pour the dressing over the beans and onion, then toss lightly to combine.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving.
