Lemon Asparagus Pasta with Grilled Chicken

Instructions
- 1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions and add asparagus during the last 3 minutes of cooking.
- 2. Reserve ¼ cup of the pasta cooking liquid.
- 3. In a small pot, combine heavy cream, butter, salt, and pepper over medium-high heat and bring to a simmer, stirring until thickened.
- 4. Remove from heat and stir in lemon zest and juice.
- 5. Combine the pasta, asparagus, and chicken in the pot, then pour the cream sauce over and toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
- 6. Stir in parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- 7. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices if desired before serving.
