Ingredients

  • 400 g Koshian
  • 130 g sugar
  • ½ stick Bō Kanten
  • 200 ml water

Instructions

  1. Soak the Kanten and water in a small saucepan for about 30 minutes.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat while whisking well.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for at least a minute until Kanten dissolves completely.
  4. Add sugar and stir until fully incorporated.
  5. Stir in Koshian until well combined and thickened, then turn off the heat.
  6. Pour the mixture into a rectangular container and chill in the fridge for about 2 hours.
  7. Slice to serve.
