Ingredients

The coffee mixture

  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
  • a pinch cinnamon (optional)

The milk

  • 1 cup milk of choice

Instructions

  1. Combine instant coffee, sugar, and boiling water in a bowl.
  2. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer to whip the mixture for 2 to 5 minutes until fluffy.
  3. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and whip any unmixed bits.
  4. Taste the mixture and add more sugar if desired.
  5. Pour your favorite milk into a tall glass, adding ice if making iced coffee.
  6. Spoon the whipped coffee on top of the milk.
  7. Stir vigorously to combine and enjoy.
