Curried Shrimp

The curry base

The shrimp and garnish

cilantro, finely chopped

large shrimp, peeled

lime juice, freshly squeezed
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large saucepan.
- Sauté garlic and onion over low heat until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
- Add pureed tomatoes, ginger, cumin, coriander, and turmeric; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Place shrimp in the simmering sauce and cook for 10 minutes until cooked through.
- Stir in chopped cilantro.
- Remove from heat and add freshly squeezed lime juice.
- Serve the dish.
