Salted Dark Chocolate Cupcakes

The Ganache Frosting

Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Mix buttermilk and coffee in another bowl.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk mixture to the creamed butter mixture, mixing well after each addition.
- Fill paper-lined baking cups two-thirds full and bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
- For the ganache, heat cream until boiling, pour over chopped chocolate, and stir until smooth. Let cool until thickened.
- Frost cooled cupcakes with ganache and sprinkle with sea salt.
