Ingredients

  • 1 piece refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 large heirloom tomato, sliced
  • 2 pieces Aidell's precooked chicken sausage
  • 1 bunch fresh basil
  • 2-3 ounces sliced parmesan
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • to taste olive oil
  • to taste sea salt
  • to taste fresh ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick spray.
  3. Slice the tomato and chicken sausage.
  4. Lay the pie crust on the pan and add the chopped garlic.
  5. Layer the sliced tomatoes, sausage, and parmesan in the middle of the pie crust, leaving room on the edges.
  6. Drizzle olive oil and add salt and pepper before folding the crust over the filling.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until the edges are browned and the filling is warm and bubbly.
