Chocolate Coconut Macaroons

Ingredients

  • ½ cup almond butter
  • cup cacao powder
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • 2 cups shredded unsweetened coconut

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the almond butter, cacao powder, maple syrup, and salt.
  3. Add the shredded coconut and mix until all the coconut is coated.
  4. Scoop the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet using a tablespoon or cookie scoop.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or freeze for 1 to 2 hours for a no-bake version.
  6. Allow to cool before serving.
