Ingredients

The roast

  • 3-4 lbs chuck roast

The seasonings

  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix

The toppings

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4-6 pieces pepperoncini peppers

Instructions

  1. Place the chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  3. Add the unsalted butter and pepperoncini peppers on top.
  4. Cook on low for 8 hours until the roast is fork tender.
  5. Serve with mashed potatoes or egg noodles and a green vegetable.
