Hanami Dango

Ingredients

  • 90 g Glutinous rice flour
  • 90 g Water or Silken tofu
  • 2 tbs White sugar
  • ΒΌ tsp Matcha powder
  • A drop Pink food coloring

Instructions

  1. Mix the glutinous rice flour, water or silken tofu, and sugar in a bowl to form a dough.
  2. Divide the dough into three equal portions.
  3. Add matcha powder to one portion and knead until green.
  4. Add pink food coloring to another portion and knead until light pink.
  5. Roll each portion into 6 uniform-sized balls.
  6. Boil water and add the dango balls.
  7. Once they float, cook for a few more minutes, then transfer to cold water.
  8. Skewer one green, one white, and one pink dango together and serve.
