Ingredients

  • 8 cups seedless watermelon, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 6 small watermelon wedges (for garnish, optional)
  • 6 small lime wedges or wheels (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend 4 cups of watermelon with ½ cup of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of lime juice until smooth, then pour into a large pitcher.
  2. Repeat with the remaining 4 cups of watermelon, ½ cup of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of lime juice.
  3. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer if desired, and chill until serving.
  4. Serve over ice-filled glasses and garnish with watermelon and lime wedges if desired.
