Cajun Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients

The chicken

  • 2 pieces Boneless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 Tbsp Cajun Seasoning
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

The sauce

  • 3 Tbsp Salted Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp All-purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Rubbed Sage
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

The pasta

  • 12 oz Fettuccine Pasta

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast in half lengthwise and season with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  2. Cook the chicken in a skillet over medium heat for 4 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic, then add flour and stir until thickened.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, salt, black pepper, sage, and Parmesan cheese, whisking until smooth and melted.
  5. Boil water in a pot, cook fettuccine according to package instructions, then drain.
  6. Toss the drained pasta with the Alfredo sauce.
  7. Slice the cooked chicken and serve on top of the fettuccine Alfredo.
