Instructions
- In a pot over high heat, add all ingredients except for water and sweat for about 3 minutes.
- Add any optional ingredients and stir in the water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 1 hour.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Strain the broth into storage containers using cheesecloth or a fine mesh strainer.
- Stir in liquid aminos if using, and store in the fridge or freeze for later use.
