Instructions
- Mix flour, salt, sugar, and turmeric in a food processor or by hand.
- Add butter and shortening, then vinegar and water gradually until the dough holds together.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface, cut into circles, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- In a saucepan, heat oil and sauté onions, garlic, paprika, thyme, curry, chili powder, white pepper, and chicken bouillon for 2 minutes.
- Add ground chicken and breadcrumbs, cooking for about 10 minutes while stirring frequently.
- Stir in green onions and parsley, then adjust seasoning and let cool.
- Scoop filling onto each dough circle, brush edges with egg white, fold, and seal.
- Preheat oven to 375°F, place patties on a baking sheet, and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
