Instructions
- Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar in a bowl and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Add olive oil, remaining water, flour, rosemary, and fine salt, and mix until combined.
- Switch to a hook attachment and knead the dough until smooth and elastic, adding more flour if necessary.
- Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Divide the dough into two portions and shape into ovals, tucking seams for structure.
- Place on a greased baking sheet and let rise uncovered until doubled, about 1.5 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F in the last 10 minutes of rising.
- Bake for 10 minutes, brush with olive oil, sprinkle with kosher salt, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with olive oil and black pepper for dipping.
