Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two muffin tins with muffin liners.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In a medium bowl, combine the mashed banana and avocado, then whisk in the melted butter or oil, brown sugar, egg replacements, vanilla, and almond milk until just combined.
- Add the dry flour mixture to the wet mixture and stir until well combined. Fold in ½ cup of chocolate chips.
- Scoop the batter into the muffin tins, filling each about 2 tablespoons full, and top with the remaining chocolate chips.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the muffin tins for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
