Vegetable and Edamame Pasta with Basil Cream Sauce

Instructions
- 1. Boil a large pot of water.
- 2. Sauté onion, olive oil, and minced garlic for 5 minutes, then add chopped vegetables and edamame, cooking for another 10 minutes.
- 3. Cook the pasta in boiling water for 9-11 minutes, then rinse with cold water and set aside.
- 4. In a food processor, blend basil, water, olive oil, lemon juice, avocado, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
- 5. Add chopped tomatoes to the skillet with vegetables and cook for 5 more minutes.
- 6. Combine drained pasta with vegetables, then mix in the basil cream sauce and season to taste. Serve warm or cold.
