  • cup milk (almond milk recommended)
  • ¼ cup old-fashioned oats (gluten-free if needed)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
  • pinch salt
  • 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.
  2. Pulse until smooth, adding more milk if needed to thin or more ice to thicken.
  3. Serve immediately, garnished with a fresh cherry if desired.
