Ingredients

The smoothie base

  • cups frozen mango pieces
  • 1 cup water or almond milk

The layers

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • optional frozen banana, honey, stevia, or agave (sweeteners)

Instructions

  1. Blend the mango with water or almond milk until smooth, adjusting thickness as needed.
  2. Pour ⅔ of the mango smoothie into a serving container.
  3. Blend the strawberries with the remaining mango smoothie, adding more liquid if necessary, and sweeten if desired.
  4. Layer the strawberry smoothie on top of the mango layer in the serving glass.
  5. Blend the spinach with the remaining smoothie and pour it on top to create the final layer.
  6. Enjoy immediately or freeze for later.
