Ingredients

The smoothie

  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 ounces fresh spinach or roughly chopped kale leaves
  • ½ medium banana
  • ½ cup frozen mango chunks or pineapple chunks
  • 1 tablespoon nut butter of choice
  • optional none ice

Optional mix-ins

  • ½ scoop protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal

Instructions

  1. Add the almond milk, spinach, banana, mango, nut butter, and any optional mix-ins to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. If desired, add ice for a thicker consistency and blend again.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
