Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped broccoli florets
  • 1 cup fresh basil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¾ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the broccoli by steaming it until fork tender, about 8 minutes.
  2. While the broccoli is steaming, add the other pesto ingredients to a blender.
  3. Once the broccoli is cooked, add it to the blender and blend until smooth.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Serve immediately or store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
