Authentic Mexican Rice

Instructions
- Whisk together warm water, minced tomato, Caldo de Tomate, onion powder, chili powder, and black pepper, then set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a medium non-stick saucepan over medium heat, then add rice and sauté until opaque and lightly golden.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
- Pour in the water mixture carefully, stir once to level out the rice, and ensure it simmers.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until the liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat, fluff the rice with a fork, cover, and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
