Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg whites with a hand mixer until medium-stiff peaks form.
- Gradually add the sweetener while continuing to beat, then mix in the sea salt and vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in the shredded coconut without breaking down the egg whites.
- Use a cookie scoop to drop the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
- If desired, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil for a drizzle, then cool the macaroons to set the chocolate.
