Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400ºF and prepare a baking pan.
- Dry the cod fillets with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small pan, heat butter and sauté garlic, paprika, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and parsley or basil for about a minute.
- Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, then add lemon juice.
- Brush the spice mixture over the cod fillets thoroughly.
- Place the cod in the prepared baking dish and bake for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
- Garnish with lemon before serving.
