Ingredients

The fish

  • 8 4-oz Cod fillets

The sauce

  • ¼ cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 medium Lemon
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • ¾ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Pat the cod fillets dry and arrange them in a baking dish.
  3. Melt the butter and stir in the lemon juice and zest.
  4. Brush the lemon butter over the cod fillets and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cod is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with the lemon butter sauce.
