Instructions
- Cook the rice according to your rice cooker's instructions.
- While the rice is cooking, mix the miso flavour ingredients in a bowl.
- Once the rice is cooked, divide it into 6 equal portions and shape each portion into a triangle using cling wrap.
- For the miso flavour, heat a cast iron skillet, add butter, and grill the onigiri for about 1 minute on each side, brushing with miso paste until crispy.
- For the soy sauce flavour, heat a cast iron skillet with vegetable oil, grill the onigiri for about 1 minute on each side, brushing with soy sauce until crispy.
- Serve the grilled rice balls with garnishes.
