Instructions
- Cook the rice according to your preferred method.
- Transfer the cooked rice to a bowl to cool down.
- Prepare the fillings: deseed the umeboshi and divide it, mix bonito flakes with soy sauce and mirin, and mix drained tuna with mayonnaise.
- Place plastic wrap over a bowl, add ⅙ of the cooled rice, and make a well in the center.
- Add about 1 tsp of the chosen filling into the well, then cover with more rice and mold it into a triangle shape using the plastic wrap.
- Remove the plastic wrap and wrap the bottom of the rice triangle with a nori sheet.
- Repeat the process with the remaining rice and fillings.
