Instructions
- Heat almond milk and vegan butter until warm, then let cool to 110°F.
- Sprinkle yeast over the mixture and let it activate for 10 minutes.
- Add sugar and salt, then gradually mix in flour until a sticky dough forms.
- Knead the dough briefly, then place it in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, brush with melted vegan butter, and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Tightly roll the dough and cut into 1.5 to 2 inch sections, placing them in a greased pan.
- Brush with melted vegan butter, cover, and let rise while preheating the oven to 350°F.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown, then cool slightly before serving.
- Optional: Frost with icing made from powdered sugar and almond milk.
