Instructions
- Combine panko crumbs, egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chives, parsley, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, tabasco, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Mix well and gently fold in the crab meat without overmixing.
- Shape the mixture into 4 round, flattened patties, each about ½ cup.
- Preheat the waffle iron on high and spray it with cooking oil.
- Place one patty in the center of the waffle iron and close it gently.
- Cook for about 2 ½ to 3 minutes until the edges are golden.
- Serve the crab cakes with lemon wedges.
