Instructions
- Chop the broccoli into evenly-sized pieces, preferably florets of one to two inches.
- Add ½ cup of water to the Instant Pot and place the steamer basket filled with broccoli florets inside.
- Cover the Instant Pot with the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on Manual High Pressure for 0 minutes.
- When the pot beeps, perform a quick release by turning the valve to venting.
- Remove the broccoli immediately to prevent overcooking.
- For a simple dish, sprinkle the broccoli with salt and pepper and serve warm.
- Alternatively, sauté the steamed broccoli in the Instant Pot with tamari sauce and sesame oil for added flavor.
