Ingredients

The broccoli

  • 1 pound broccoli florets

The water

  • ½ cup water

Instructions

  1. Pour the water into the bottom of the Instant Pot and place a steamer basket inside.
  2. Add the broccoli florets to the steamer basket and secure the lid.
  3. Set the steam release valve to 'Sealing' and use the Pressure Cook button to cook at high pressure for zero minutes.
  4. Wait for the pot to pressurize, which will take about 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Once the cooking cycle is complete, quickly release the steam by moving the steam release valve to 'Venting'.
  6. When the floating valve drops, open the lid and check that the broccoli is tender but not mushy.
  7. Serve warm or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
