- Pour the water into the bottom of the Instant Pot and place a steamer basket inside.
- Add the broccoli florets to the steamer basket and secure the lid.
- Set the steam release valve to 'Sealing' and use the Pressure Cook button to cook at high pressure for zero minutes.
- Wait for the pot to pressurize, which will take about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Once the cooking cycle is complete, quickly release the steam by moving the steam release valve to 'Venting'.
- When the floating valve drops, open the lid and check that the broccoli is tender but not mushy.
- Serve warm or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
