Instant Pot Broccoli with an Easy Lemon Butter Sauce

Ingredients

The Broccoli

  • 1 pound raw broccoli cut into florets
  • 1 cup water

The Lemon Butter Sauce (Optional)

  • ΒΌ cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 large pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Place the steamer basket in the bottom of the Instant Pot and add broccoli florets and water.
  2. Cover the Instant Pot with the lid and set the vent to sealing.
  3. Set to Manual Low Pressure for 0 minutes. If the broccoli is large or very firm, use Manual High Pressure for 0 minutes.
  4. While the Instant Pot comes to pressure, melt the butter in a separate pan, then stir in lemon juice and salt to make the sauce.
  5. Once the cook time is up, immediately Quick Release the steam and carefully open the lid.
  6. If cooked at High Pressure, run cold water over the broccoli to stop cooking. Shake dry and serve warm with lemon butter sauce.
