Salted Caramel Ice Cream

Caramel Sauce

Instructions
- Whisk together all ice cream base ingredients.
- Process the mixture in an ice cream maker.
- For the caramel sauce, heat butter, brown sugar, and cream in a pot, stirring until melted.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt to taste.
- Cool the caramel sauce to room temperature.
- Once the ice cream is finished churning, layer it in a container and drizzle in the caramel sauce.
- Sprinkle in flaky sea salt if desired.
- Freeze until firm and serve with additional caramel if desired.
