Instructions
- Melt the baking chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently.
- Combine sugar, flour, baking powder, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
- Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl and set aside.
- Once melted, combine the chocolate mixture with the dry ingredients and mix until incorporated.
- Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate the batter for at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop the dough and roll into balls, then coat in granulated sugar.
- Place the dough balls on the baking sheets, spaced apart.
- Bake for 10-11 minutes until set around the edges, then cool on the sheet for 5-7 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
