Ingredients

Jalapeno Infused Tequila

  • cups blanco tequila
  • 1 large jalapeno, sliced (with seeds)

Spicy Margarita

  • 2 oz. jalapeno tequila
  • ¾ oz. cointreau
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz. fresh orange juice
  • ½ teaspoon agave (optional)

Pitcher of Spicy Margarita

  • 1⅔ cups jalapeno tequila
  • oz. cointreau
  • 6 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 6 oz. fresh orange juice
  • 3 teaspoons agave

Instructions

  1. Infuse the tequila by adding blanco tequila and sliced jalapeños to a mason jar and letting it sit for at least 24 hours.
  2. For a single serve margarita, mix jalapeño tequila, cointreau, lime juice, orange juice, and agave in a cocktail shaker, shake, and pour over crushed ice.
  3. For a pitcher, combine jalapeño tequila, cointreau, lime juice, orange juice, and agave in a medium pitcher, stir, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  4. Serve over ice and garnish with jalapeño slices and lime wedges.
