Gluten Free Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf sliced gluten-free white bread
  • ¾ cup butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Let the bread slices air dry for 1 to 2 hours, then cut them into cubes.
  2. In a Dutch oven, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion and celery and cook until soft, seasoning with poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in the bread cubes until evenly coated, then pour the chicken broth over and mix well.
  5. Chill the mixture, then use it as stuffing for your turkey or bake in a buttered casserole dish at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 40 minutes.
