Chocolate Sheet Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting

Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a sheet pan.
- 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, baking soda, and salt.
- 3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla extract.
- 4. Melt the butter in a saucepan, then whisk in the cocoa powder and hot water.
- 5. Combine the melted butter mixture with the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- 6. Stir in the egg mixture until well combined.
- 7. Pour the batter into the prepared sheet pan and bake for 18 minutes.
- 8. While the cake bakes, prepare the frosting by mixing the powdered sugar, milk, peanut butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- 9. Frost the cake after it has cooled and top with chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups if desired.
- 10. Allow the frosted cake to cool to room temperature before serving.
