Ingredients

The bacon

The glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Mix the maple syrup, brown sugar, and black pepper in a small bowl until well combined.
  3. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and spray with nonstick pan spray.
  4. Cut the bacon strips in half and place them in a single layer on the baking sheet without overlapping.
  5. Brush the brown sugar mixture over both sides of the bacon strips.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, checking to prevent burning.
  7. Let the bacon cool on a wire rack briefly before serving.
