Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Arrange bacon in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until crisp.
- Remove bacon and place on paper towels to cool, then cut into 2-inch pieces.
- Line a baking sheet with wax paper.
- Melt chocolate chips and vegetable shortening in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip bacon pieces in melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, then place on wax paper.
- Chill in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes until chocolate sets.
- Melt white chocolate candy melts and drizzle over the chocolate-covered bacon.
- Return to the refrigerator until the white chocolate sets.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
