Irish Coffee

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup heavy cream, chilled
  • ounces Irish whiskey
  • 1-2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 4 ounces freshly brewed coffee, hot

Instructions

  1. Beat the heavy cream in a small bowl until soft peaks form.
  2. Pour the whiskey into the bottom of a mug.
  3. Add brown sugar to the whiskey and stir to dissolve.
  4. Top the whiskey and sugar mixture with hot coffee.
  5. Pour the thickened cream over the back of a chilled spoon to float it on top of the coffee.
  6. Serve boiling hot.
