Overnight Chai Eggnog French Toast Casserole

Instructions
- Grease a 13x9 pan with cooking spray.
- Add the cubes of gluten-free bread to the baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, eggnog, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, ginger, clove, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture over the cubed bread and gently press down to ensure the bread is covered.
- Wrap the dish with foil and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Remove the casserole from the refrigerator and sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
- Bake covered for 35 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until slightly browned.
- Optional: Garnish with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup.
