Instructions
- Butter a 9x13 inch baking dish and set aside.
- Cut the bread into 1 inch cubes and place in the prepared pan.
- In a blender or mixing bowl, combine egg nog, eggs, vanilla, rum/rum flavoring, and pumpkin pie spice, then blend or whisk until well combined.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the bread cubes, ensuring all cubes are coated.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F when ready to bake.
- In a small bowl, combine the topping ingredients and mix well.
- Uncover the bread mixture and sprinkle the topping over it.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes until golden brown and set in the middle.
- Allow to stand for 5-10 minutes before cutting into squares.
